City Hunter Series 1 Episode 19 “A Beach to Remember – An Audition Full of Danger”

“Summer, the season when love’s flame burns the hottest. Summer’s my season!”. Auditions have started to find the leading lady for an upcoming production. Someone has sent a threatening note to the production company ordering them to “Shut down this opening auditions!

If you don’t. I can’t be held responsible for what happens to the young ladies.” Not a worry Ryo is on the case! Eyeing every hottie in their hi-cut bikinis. Mokkori bounce factor!! Kaori sighs “This is like leaving the fox to guard the henhouse”. Kaori makes Ryo peel potatoes as she looks after the girls that have made it through the preliminary round. Ryo says “I should have become a movie star” and quits, He gives up peeling any more potatoes and heads down to the beach for some action! Unfortunately all the hot chicks have gone!

Her name is “Etsuko”, Ryo finds her left on the beach and tries to make a move! She calls him “Father” ?!? She tells Ryo the story of how her mother met her father for the first time in similar circumstances on an early evening by the sea. And when she saw Ryo the image in her mind and reality merged together hence explaining why she reacted that way.

City Hunter Series 1 Episode 17 “Summer’s Lovely Designer – Ryo has a Thing for the Ultra High Cut Type”

It’s summer time and everyone is having fun in the sun, advertising for the latest swimwear is hanging from buildings. All the hot chicks are in the swimming pool and they see something swimming very fast in the pool. No surprises here! Ryo floats to the surface after he cops an astray to the head. Midori Ohara a swimwear designer as well as a very hot swimwear model hires Ryo to recover her latest swimwear designs. The person who stole her designs is her former mentor Mr Yonezawa. He has been using her designs for the past few years now labeling them his own creations, Midori could do nothing about it until she found herself some financial backing and decided to go solo and launch her own label. Midori makes the mistake of offering whatever it takes to get her creations back in time for her runway show. Ryo asks Midori if her latest creations are High-Leg? (I wonder if he actually means Hi-Cut in modern terms) and she tells him they are Super High-Leg! Ryo wants Midori to model the swimwear for him privately when he gets the designs back for her.

Ryo and Kaori turn up to Mr Yonezawa’s castle and pretends to be from a French fashion magazine ‘Paris Mode Magazine’ and offers Yonezawa a thirty page special on his latest swimwear creations. Kaori is invited to visit Mr Yonezawa privately where he gives her a special box containing something he would like her to try on.
