City Hunter Series 1 Episode 9 “The Gambling Queen – A Bet for Wonderful Love”

Kaori goes on holiday and leaves Ryo with no money and the task to meet his next client. Ryo was to meet his client at the roulette table only to be distracted by the hot mokkori dealer. Ryo places all his money on black 13 and continues to perve at the dealer, The roulette ball lands on black 13 and Ryo then realizes that his client is the dealer. Her name is Yoko Makino, she has a special talent! She shows Ryo how she is able to read the cards face down with almost 100% accurancy. This is the reason why the yakuza owned casino is not letting her go. The casino will have a showdown with an opposing syndicate and the Shinjuku territory is what’s on the line. Yoko volunteered to represent the casino as a gambler in the contest, and if she wins can leave the casino. Ryo must protect Yoko from the opposition as they have learned of her ability and want to assassinate her.
