City Hunter Series 1 Episode 7 “A Gunshot to Set the Heart Aflutter! Sad, Lonely Girl”
Kaori promises to take a job from some guy and tries all sorts of methods to persuade Ryo to go and meet him, but Ryo insists that he only accepts jobs from beautiful women. Kaori then asks Ryo when he would accept a job from a man? And Ryo responds “When my heart flutters”. This answer causing Kaori to laugh with disbelief until her stomach hurts! They both wait in the park for the client to turn up and watch the kids playing who leave one by one until only one lonely girl is left by herself. Their client turns up thirty minutes late and looking depressed, Mr. Hagio explains why he wants to fake his own death. Sozo Amachi a big-time politician who is favoured to be the next prime minister, One year ago Sozo was drink driving and hit a girl then got his chauffeur to commit suicide leaving a notes behind admitting to the accident. The chauffeur who killed himself was Mr. Hagio! Mr. Hagio then reveals that the little girl in the park is actually his daughter which he hasn’t been able to hug or see for the last year. Ryo then promises the little girl he’ll bring back her dad and accepts the job.
